Accessibility Statement
Last updated: February 28, 2026
Our Commitment
Haven Bureau is committed to ensuring that our website and digital services are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We believe that every person deserves equal access to information about luxury real estate markets and our referral services, regardless of ability.
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Accessible Features
We have implemented the following features to support accessibility across our website:
- Keyboard Navigation — All interactive elements, including navigation menus, links, buttons, and forms, are fully operable using a keyboard alone. Users can navigate the site using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and arrow keys without requiring a mouse.
- Screen Reader Compatibility — Our pages are structured with semantic HTML, including proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and ARIA attributes where necessary, to ensure compatibility with popular screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
- Alternative Text — All meaningful images and graphics include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are appropriately marked so that screen readers skip them.
- Color Contrast — Text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (at minimum 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text) to ensure readability for users with low vision or color vision deficiencies.
- Resizable Text — Our website supports browser-based text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. The layout adapts responsively to accommodate enlarged text.
- Focus Indicators — Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements so that keyboard users can clearly identify which element is currently selected.
- Consistent Navigation — Navigation menus and page layouts follow a consistent, predictable structure across the site to reduce cognitive load and support ease of use.
- Form Accessibility — All form fields include associated labels, clear instructions, and meaningful error messages to assist users in completing inquiries and contact forms.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser-based accessibility extensions and tools
We test our website across current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and their associated accessibility features to ensure broad compatibility.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet be fully optimized. We are actively working to identify and resolve any barriers. Known limitations include:
- Some third-party content, including embedded maps, property listing feeds, and external media, may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We work with our partners to encourage accessibility improvements.
- Certain PDF documents linked from our site may not be fully accessible. Where possible, we provide equivalent information in accessible HTML format.
- Newly published content may take a short period to receive full accessibility review and remediation.
We are continuously improving our digital accessibility and address issues as they are identified.
Accommodations for Property Searches and Viewings
Haven Bureau connects buyers with independent licensed real estate agents in select luxury markets. If you require accommodations during any stage of the property search or referral process — including accessible property information, alternative document formats, or communication in a preferred method — please contact us and we will work with you and our network of agents to meet your needs.
Examples of accommodations we can facilitate include:
- Property information provided in large print, audio, or plain-text formats
- Communication via your preferred method (email, phone, text, or video call with captioning)
- Coordination with referral agents to ensure accessible property viewings where possible
- Alternative formats for any documents or materials we provide
Third-Party Content
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, embedded content, or services that are not owned or controlled by Haven Bureau. We are not responsible for the accessibility practices of third-party sites. However, we encourage our partners and service providers to adopt and maintain accessible digital experiences.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on a third-party site linked from ours, we recommend contacting that provider directly. You are also welcome to let us know, and we will consider the accessibility of linked resources in our ongoing review process.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, have difficulty using any part of our site, or would like to suggest improvements, please contact us:
- Email: info@havenbureau.com
- Subject line: Accessibility Feedback
When reporting an accessibility issue, please include the following information if possible:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five (5) business days and will work to resolve reported issues as promptly as possible.
