Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Last updated: February 28, 2026
Your Rights Under the CCPA
The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, the “CCPA”), grants California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. This page explains those rights and describes how you can exercise them with Haven Bureau.
Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share
- Request deletion of personal information we have collected
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
What "Sale" of Personal Information Means
Under the CCPA, a “sale” of personal information is broadly defined as selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating a consumer’s personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
The CCPA also covers the “sharing” of personal information, which includes making personal information available to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, whether or not for monetary consideration.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the course of providing our real estate referral and marketing services, Haven Bureau may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers — such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Commercial Information — such as property preferences, price range, desired locations, and records of inquiries you have submitted through our website
- Internet or Electronic Network Activity — such as browsing history on our website, search queries, and interactions with our pages and content
- Geolocation Data — approximate geographic location derived from your IP address or information you provide about your areas of interest
- Professional or Employment-Related Information — such as your occupation or professional background, when voluntarily provided in connection with a property inquiry
- Inferences — profiles drawn from the above categories to better understand your property preferences and match you with appropriate referral agents
Does Haven Bureau Sell Your Personal Information?
Haven Bureau does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do not rent, trade, or exchange your personal data with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
As a real estate referral service, we share certain personal information — such as your name, contact details, and property preferences — with independent licensed real estate agents in our network for the sole purpose of delivering the service you have requested. This sharing is necessary to fulfill your inquiry and connect you with a qualified agent in your desired market. Under the CCPA, this constitutes a disclosure for a business purpose, not a sale.
We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf. To do so, you must provide the authorized agent with written permission to act on your behalf, and we may require you to verify your own identity directly with us. Alternatively, your authorized agent may provide a power of attorney pursuant to California Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465.
We may deny a request from an agent who does not submit proof of authorization from you.
Non-Discrimination
Haven Bureau will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not:
- Deny you goods or services
- Charge you different prices or rates for services
- Provide you a different level or quality of service
- Suggest that you will receive a different price or rate, or a different level or quality of service
Response Timeline
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) calendar days of receiving it. If we require more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and the extended timeline in writing.
If we cannot verify your identity or authority to make a request, we will explain why we are unable to comply.
