One advisor, two markets
Arthur Goodrich is one of the few advisors who works both San Francisco and Wine Country with real depth. He has lived in San Francisco since 1989 and in Napa Valley since 2011, and The Goodrich Group at Sotheby's International Realty serves clients who move between the two: the Pacific Heights residence and the Calistoga retreat, the city career and the vineyard estate.
For buyers, that means one point of contact who understands how a San Francisco sale funds a Napa purchase, which valley enclaves hold value through wildfire and water cycles, and how vineyard permits, Williamson Act contracts, and hillside ordinances change what a parcel can become.
Three decades of negotiation
Before real estate, Arthur spent thirty years in corporate leadership in medical technology and healthcare services. He led national sales organizations and played a central role in a landmark sale to Stryker Corporation in 2009. He brought that preparation and negotiating discipline into real estate in 2020, closed more than $30M in his first year, and passed $150M within four.
Wine Country roots
After buying his first Napa property, Arthur founded Mayastoga Property Group, a luxury vacation rental and concierge service representing more than 25 homes across the valley. The relationships that came with it, with vintners, designers, and owners, now serve his buyers well beyond the closing table.
How Haven Bureau works with Arthur
Haven Bureau introduces buyers in Napa, Sonoma, and San Francisco to Arthur after a private consultation. He handles the search, showings, negotiation, and closing directly through Sotheby's International Realty. Haven Bureau does not represent buyers or sellers and does not take part in the transaction.
